The Wolfe Tones continue to be benchmark for Irish music.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Belt of the Celt (Audio CD)
The Wolfe Tones continue their masterful contributions to Ireland and Irish music in Belt of the Celts. This effort showcases all the strengths of the group, especially Tommy Byrne's amazing voice on several tracks. The history of Ireland comes alive as the Wolfe Tones once again manage to be both educational and entertaining. And just for the personal information of the reviewer from Alberta, Canada, the mighty and powerful Wolfe Tones are still together after 35 years. They continue to tour extensively and Derek Warfield has realeased two solo albums over the past few years.

This review is from: Belt of the Celt (Audio Cassette)
Belt of the Celts by the Wolfe Tones is forty-seven minutes and thirty-seven seconds and was released on June 30, 1993. Belt of the Celts is the Wolfe Tones seventh studio album. The music on the cassette is traditional Irish music and most of the tunes are upbeat. Granted this is my only Wolfe Tones album that I own, I am still giving Belt of the Celts an AAAA++++.
