This album was my introduction to this duo. Unlike the previous reviewer, this has to rate as one of my favorite albums of 2008. I'm very interested in checking out their previous stuff.

Before purchasing this CD, I recommend listening to a few of the tracks which are available on the band's website (www.beadybelle.com). This latest release is an obvious departure from the style of music on their previous 3 releases. Belevedere features 9 tracks. The band has abandoned their electronic, jazz infused sound for a more acoustic sound with a slight blues-like feel. While they still sound good, it's clearly a new direction for them. My advice is to listen before you buy. I, in general, was disappointed.
