Terrific Elton !, February 3, 2006

Now in his 70s, Elton is just getting better and better. Elton's impeccable sense of rhythm, his elegant instrumentation and arrangements, and his gravelly voice all come together in a lovely blend. There's a reason that old sambistas are revered in Brasil. Oh, and I forgot to mention that most of the compositions his own and others - are wonderful.
