This toy was a replacement for the jet ray gun that broke after 10 minutes. My 4 year old played with this toy for about 30 minutes and one of the wheels locked up. It's going back to the store. This is the third ben 10 toy that doesn't work or has broken after very little play time. Not made well at all.

The first one lasted literally 10 seconds out of the box. The tiny plastic clip in the 'chamber' that holds the alien's torso broke off the first time he tried it. We returned it and got another one. Right out of the box, the torso wont stay attached to the same plastic clip that broke the first time. It wont work without this. He likes to play with the figures that came with it, so we will probably just throw the chamber in the garbage. Dont buy this piece of junk.

My 5 year old plays with this almost everyday after school. Even though I don't think it is all that well made, the idea is really fun for him. He likes building the aliens, and sometimes doesn't even bother using the "creator"; he just pops the parts on and off himself. This is a kid who also loves building with legos, so this seems to be taking it to another level for him, and Ben 10 Aliens make it even better.

I don't know what is going on but the price on this is out of control. I was just at Walmart and it is $29.99. I can't believe adding the figures sets this toy up over 100 bucks.

My 7yo son loves this toy but not for the reason it was bought. The creation chamber does not work very well. He just likes to take the pieces parts and create his own aliens outside the chamber since the chamber is difficult to use. This would be a great toy if they could figure out how to make the chamber actually create the aliens. The parts wouldn't stay together very well and the chamber had problems pushing them together. The batteries required only light up some cheesey lights.

We tried all day to make an alien with this piece of garbage. Every time we would turn the knob all the pieces would come flying off! My son must have sat there for 2 hours trying to make an alien and did not get to make one! I wish I would have checked this site before buying. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

My son got this and it is pretty cool! he is 6. My 11 yo actually likes it a little better tho I think. seems a little difficult for my 6yo to grasp how he needs to set it up w/out breaking the little parts. and they ARE LITTLE PARTS. chamber comes w/ extra white clip for the torso part. nothing broke on ours yet. we will be extra careful based on its reviews from others tho.
my son actually got ALL the extra kits/2-pack sets that go with this and the bottom of the chamber is not large enough to hold more than 6 or 8 guy parts unless you mix them all up together. they should have made the storage area deeper so all can be stored in it. we have a tupperware container full too. the top of the chamber doesn't lock on top for storing it so keeps falling off if he bumps it in his room, etc.

he seems to enjoy playing w/ it and he and my older son like to make up what powers the mixed up aliens will have. sometimes they put them together w/out the chamber.

I read a bunch of bad reviews on this product, but I bought it anyway b/c my son really wanted it for Christmas. He says it works putting the guys together & it seems more durable than I thought it would be. He's happy, so I'm happy.

This toy is a piece of garbage. It's too bad that I didn't read the other negative reviews on here before purchasing. There is nothing like your son opening a toy he so desperately wanted on Christmas morning only for it to break and not work within 2 seconds. The middle pin to hold the torso broke right away. I replaced it with the new pin included and still would not hold a torso...it just keeps popping off. Upon examination I see because the opening on the torso is way too small for the pin. So nothing but disappointment this morning. We will return tomorrow and replace with something from another character line that will actually work!

The wheels that spin around the different pieces (arms, legs, head) lock up within 10 minutes. We bought 4 (yes f-o-u-r) of these things before we finally gave up. Our son insisted he would like to put the little alien dudes together without the wheels (basically without using this device, just doing it by hand) and so we gave in and let him keep it. That was about a month ago, and hmmm, he hasn't played with the little dudes in about 3.5 weeks. By the way, I posted a review of this here the day after I had purchased #4, and I just checked in to see that my review mysteriously disappeared.
