The Force is Strong in This One.,
By Tim Coogan "CN fan" (Millville, NJ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ben 10: Alien Force, Vol. 5 (DVD)
Volume 5 of "Ben 10 Alien Force" is now available. If you think that Ben Tennyson has problems before, then get this. Four new to DVD episodes involve a tiny Upgrade-like creature named Ship and Ben gets busted by his parents when they discover him as Swampfire ! Also, Ben teams up with Grandpa Max as they enter the Null Void to defeat an old enemy.A cool special feature is a sneak peek of the new "Ben 10 Alien Swarm" movie as seen on Cartoon Network. The movie is also out on DVD presently. But don't forget to look for more new episodes on TV as well as on DVD.

I'm leaving a favorable response because my 13 year old son loves this show (I've never viewed them). He wants the whole collection, even though I believe he's seen most of these already and just wants to watch them over and over again.

Alien Force is Good Entertainment,

We now have all 5 DVD's of Alien Force. We started with the original series and moved up to AF as our child matured. We don't have cable at our house so we didn't experience the episodes as they aired.I call it good entertainment. No, it doesn't always track well with the prior incantation but what the heck. It does stand on it's own, apart from the quest to find Grandpa Max. I've always been a fan of comics and cartoons. I like the animation in this series; it's not cell-based but it flows well. There's no foul language or nudity and, even though there's plenty of mayhem, no one ever gets killed. I think the 'character development' is pretty good too. The lead charaters seem to get a rythm with just enough twists to keep you watching. If I had a knock, it would be that there are too few episodes and not enough bonus material per disk.
