I will only recommend this album to someone with my musical tastes: a person who grew up with hard core, speed metal, and punk as their main diet but is now (as I get older) sedulously searching for music by artists who interpret and expand the intensity of punk. I have spent quite some trying to track down artists similar to Bitch Magnet and have come up with nothing as furiously laconic at one moment and chaotically dirty the next. The interplay between these two elements sets this album apart in my collection

Very operatic feel, heavy on thick guitar work and percussive syncopation. Anyone familiar with "All the Nation's Airports" by Archers of Loaf will appreciate this one -- both albums have the same sense of anthemic dissonance. A well-produced, very listenable recording by this important group of musicians.

After the previous CD, a lot was expected from Bitch Magnet...and they delikvered this...a very very (very!) big disappointment in comparison to the masterpiece before. This is rally very unpersonal indie-rock...
