Someone gave this to me, but I feel a great sense of responsibility to warn you that the narration is cold, clipped, and unemotional. The narrator reads it like he is reading a car manual. I only listened to 1/2 of the first disc and thought "This is horrible. I'll never make it through this book." I found the narrator very boring and losing interest. As I carefully listened to the beautiful passages, he unemotionally threw them away. I thought that maybe it was just the first disc, so I fast forwarded through another and found the same problem. Perhaps this narrator would do better with a text book but not the great Ben-Hur!
