Extend your design space to view the smallest details with the 32" BL3200PT monitor.
32" of Brilliant Detail and Incredibly Accurate Color

Accurate color gamut that brings your imagination to life, a large 32" screen that extends your design space, high resolution to view the smallest details and ergonomic features that provide excellent viewing comfort. ..combine these and the result is the BenQ BL3200PT, a monitor that meets all of your graphic designing needs. Features such as 2560x1440 WQHD resolution and 32" of monitor real estate decreases scrolling to zoom in and out of views, boosting design productivity. And BenQ's advanced 100% sRGB screen technology delivers colors with the finest precision in the greatest detail and at every possible viewing angle.

RevolutionEyes Monitor Technology Turns Good Looks into Great Work

BenQ is revolutionizing the monitor industry with improved resolutions, faster response time and quicker refresh rates. Their exclusive RevolutionEyes technology empowers users to work and play better than ever before, and is also better for the eyes, allowing extended, comfortable vision. In the BL Series, RevolutionEyes technology includes BenQ's ZeroFlicker technology, Low Blue Light, a slim bezel design, purpose-built color modes for easier viewing, and improved Eco Mode for long term power savings.

Sleek, Ergonomic Design

Large screen monitors usually take a cumbersome amount of space on a desk. The BL3200PT is designed to save as much of your workspace as possible. Its compact stand architecture enables the screen to sit at the very edge of the desk to maximize your working space and comfort. The slim bezel makes the monitor lighter and larger. In a multi-display setup with two or more units, thin bezels are less intrusive and effectively expand your workspace. And the BL3200PT has an extensive range of monitor adjustments--height, tilt, pivot, stroke and swivel. This allows you to tailor your own unique desk space that is best suited for your height and viewing preferences. A maximum 150mm distance between the screen bottom and the base affords you great viewing flexibility.

CAD/CAM and Animation Modes for Precision Design

The unique CAD/CAM Mode is specially designed to enhance work efficiency and increase eye comfort for CAD/CAM designers. With incredibly high 3000:1 color contrast, every line is perfectly distinguished. BenQ CAD/CAM monitors ensure that you will never miss a line again in your design work. And to clearly distinguish texture details in dark areas, BenQ developed Animation Mode that enhances brightness in dark zones without overexposing bright areas. With ten levels of brightness, the Animation Mode provides the comfort and freedom that every designer has eagerly awaited.

ZeroFlicker

The ZeroFlicker technology eliminates flickering at all brightness levels, effectively resulting in enhanced eye comfort. Conventional LCD screens flick 200 times per second. Your eyes may not see those flickers, but they can certainly feel them. Free your eyes from flickers by switching to any one of the picture modes available in the BL3200PT. You’re working hard enough as it is, let your eyes enjoy comfort and work less.

Low Blue Light Mode

Every monitor produces a blue spectrum of light that is one of the major causes of eye discomfort. BenQ's unique Low Blue Light technology is designed to deal with the everyday problem of blue light exposure and provides for healthier time spent in front of your computer. Switch to one of the four preset Low Blue Light Modes from the OSD hot key (Multimedia--30% reduction, Web-surfing--50% reduction, Office--60% reduction, Reading--70% reduction) and reward your eyes without having to lose the visual enjoyment. Each of these modes were specifically designed to provide extended comfort for every day applications.

Rotate Your Screen and Partition Desktops with the Display Pilot Software

Auto Pivot detects the rotation of the monitor and dynamically rotates displayed content automatically. All windows will be equally proportioned and displayed on the screen when clicking on the Desktop Partition icon. This allows you to compare designs with just one simple click. Moreover, you can preset different picture modes for each frequently used application. Display Pilot will automatically switch to your preferred viewing mode.

OSD Controller--Viewing Adjustments in an Instant

This unique control device is docked to the stand of every BL3200PT monitor, providing you remote access to the OSD menu. Three preset hot keys allow quick switching between sRGB Mode, CAD/CAM Mode, Low Blue Light Mode, or enables you to assign your own set of display modes, providing ultimate flexibility.

BenQ BL3200PT Monitor
USB 3.0 Hub and SD Card Reader for Faster Data Transfers

By integrating two USB 3.0 ports, you can transfer data up to 4 times faster than your traditional USB connectors. In addition, the two USB 3.0 ports and the SD card reader are conveniently located on the side of the monitor for easy and quick access.

I received this monitor today. The box is big but basic, the monitor is well protected. It was delivered by FedEx without damage. Set up is very easy, about 5 minutes. It comes with all the wires for all its connections, HDMI, DVI-D, Display Port etc. I'm coming from a 27" 1440p Korean PLS glossy.

This monitor doesn't "blow it away" but it is a nice upgrade. The blacks are very vibrant and black, not a dark gray like an IPS or PLS. It's a matte finish for sure but it's light and not grainy at all. The colors do "pop" just not as much as on a glossy display. It has tons of set up options and features. I so far just did the basic user mode for now. I really like the size but was concerned the 1440p resolution on a 32" was going to be sub-par coming from the 27" 1440p. It is not! I'm sitting about 2.5 feet away from it and to me, it's almost the same sharpness as the 27" even though the PPI(DPI) is at 92 vs. 109 on the 27" not that much different.

BenQ gives you 3 ways to adjust this monitor. I find the on screen works well and it's easy. It's called Display Pilot, it's comes on the CD ROM. I set the AMA to high and find this the best setting for gaming as premium makes this look funny. AMA is what BenQ calls "Improves the gray level response time of the LCD panel" and it works well. I have no dead pixels and no light bleed through the panel.

There's hardly any of that horrible "glow" that IPS and PLS tech has. I had the Dell U3014 and really didn't like it at all, mostly because it glowed all over the place and looked like horrible backlight bleed. The stand is very nice and robust. It reminds me of a Dell just nicer. The neck is all metal and the base is plastic and metal. It adjusts anyway you want it to. Fit and finish is top notch.

Verified Purchase
I believe this is the best monitor you can buy around this price point. This includes those 4K TN monitors you see floating around. No TN/IPS panel can achieve what this monitor can achieve in terms of black levels. Be prepared to see black levels that will blow your mind if you are coming from one.

Pros:
- Massive native 3000:1 contrast ratio that will make up for pretty much everything this monitor lacks.
- 32" 1440p seems like a good blend for PPI for long term sittings, 27" 1440p can cause some eye strain after awhile.
- Good color accuracy, very close to the best IPS panels.
- Good uniformity, pretty much perfect.

Neutral:
- Good viewing angles for a VA panel, it's way better than a TN panel, but not quite as good as IPS. However, since there's no IPS glow the viewing angles are better in other ways, especially in darker scenes.
- Input lag averages about 23ms. If you are on a TN panel, this will seem high. If you are on a quality IPS panel, it will be more or less the same. I personally have no problems even in FPS games, but some people are really sensitive to it.

Cons:
- Response times (ghosting/blurring) is slightly higher than your average IPS panel and much higher than any TN panel. You will notice some slight blurring when moving windows around on the desktop and in FPS/fast camera games. This is greatly improved over older VA panels, I tried 2D side scrollers and games like Diablo 3, which usually leave "trails" on many VA panels. This was not the case on this monitor.
- There is some Gamma Shift, as expected with this panel type. When you move your head to the left and right, the gamma will slightly change. It's pretty minor though, assuming you don't sit way too close to the monitor.

I'm very happy with this monitor. I wanted a monitor that had sharp text, and low eye strain. I usually have white text on a black background, so a deep black is important. This monitor exceeded my expectations!

Initially I purchased a Viewsonic VP2770, but I sent it back because the "black" background was glowing even with brightness set to 0%. It's really is not true to the Viewsonic VP line that I had been using for over ten years.

Pros:
- Great contrast, with a deep black. I set my brightness to 25%.
- Low Blue Light mode to reduce eye strain. I love this feature and use it almost exclusively. At first it makes a white screen look a little yellow, but then my eyes adjust and it looks white again. When I switch back to standard, the white looks blue at first!
- You can program three settings to be selected with just one button click on this cool looking control disc. I have: low blue light 25%, standard 25%, and full 100% brightness to show off (but I never stay here longer than a few minutes as it's too bright for close viewing.
- It's big! I was initially concerned that 32" was too large. Now I feel it looks great, with plenty of room.
- Looks very nice. The back of my monitor faces my living room and monitor stand looks sharp.
- Zero-flicker back-light. I don't know if this makes a difference, but I'm glad it has this feature.
- Rotates to portrait for a ridiculously large page! I use this when collaborating, as several people can sit far back and easily view the page.
- Mine had no dead pixels.

Cons:
- None for me so far.
