I bought this DVD+RW three months ago so I can store my big files from work, also backup my DVDs that I watch so often. I had no problem installing them, finished it in no time. One DVD+RW and 4 DVD+R came with the package, also some additional softwares if you didn't have your burning software already. If you wish to upgrate to Dual model (for both DVD-r/rw and DVD+r/rw), you can pay only $10 on their website and download the software. But since I had no problem using only DVD+r/rw, I didn't bother.
When I bought this DVD+RW, there weren't so many 8X media available, so I bought Ridata 4X instead (purple coating on writing side). Amazingly, put those two products together, and it burns at 8X (I use Nero5). All the CDs/DVDs came out just perfect, play smoothly.
Overall, I would say this product is worth of the money I paid for and does a wonderful job for me.
