What an excellent LCD! This is my first ever LCD. I'm glad I picked this one. No dead pixels. The screen is bright and clear. I did have my concerns on how good World of Warcraft would look on it compared to my 19" CRT. I don't see any ghosting or other image detracting visuals with fast 8ms response time. Watching movies is a great fun. The text is crisp, clear and easy to read. Pictures look awesome with accurate color reproduction. The DVI input works great. It comes with a DVI cable. If you are thinking of buying a 19" LCD, pick this one. This monitor is the best bang for the buck.

I bought this LCD (for a higher price) a month or so ago because I heard that BenQ manufactures for most of Dell's LCDs and that they are a huge company in Taiwan.

I am happy I did! I love the LCD! With Mother's Day coming up, I am getting one for mom (at a great price!!!!)! It is beautiful, sleek and easy to set up. And I found out, they do make some of Dell's LCDs. Good enough for them, good enough for me.

This is a great LCD for a good price.. and it also has DVI support with cables,no dead pixels and great response time..

At the time, this was a good value. A solid good quality and large size full screen monitor for a reasonable price.

The monitor arrived with no dead pixels or issues of any sort, vivid colors, a decent refresh rate and good response time. It also came ready to go including a DVI cable (which is rare even by today's standards).

While it does tilt, it does not have vertical adjustment, although the height is perfectly normal.

After 4 years, the monitor is still going strong. It has never given me an issue and has been in daily use all of it's life with very little downtime. There is no burn in of any sort, no flashing, waving, or discoloration even after over a year of consecutive days being powered on. The monitor is off maybe once or twice a year for relocation or computer upgrades.

I can safely say that this monitor has had one of the greatest returns on investment of all my purchases in my life.

Small box, great screen. color is great. I'm not an avid gamer so I am not sure how the response time would be. I know Tiger Wood PGA 2006 plays great.
Under $200? How can you beat that with a name brand?

The size of this monitor is great for gaming, i was a little worried about Benq brand ( famous brands, viewsonic, samsung, etc), but it managed to fills my needs. It features an 8 ms response time, on the spot for gaming ( specially fps). Arrived with no problems at all, but after 5 months of use, 5 dead pixels appeared on the screen ( if you look for them!!, no big deal), all in all very good product...

I gave this monitor to my husband for Christmas and he says it is the best one he's ever had. The picture is bright and clear with vivid colors, while leaving ample room on the top of the desk for the work he is doing. He praises it to everyone who comments on it and has had many who do so.

I bought this monitor last week. I upgraded from a 17" flatscreen CRT. This thing is gorgeous compared to my old one. It has zero dead pixels and is working great so far.

Pros - Relatively cheap, 1280x1024 native res (looks nice in any res though), DVI, Easy to install, brightness/contrast/colour are excellent. It also has a decent angle adjustment, and has a little cable clip at the back to keep things in place. The stand is wide and sturdy.

Cons - It was packaged fairly light... and it is a heavy monitor. Luckily it was not damaged during shipping.

This is a really nice monitor. I spoiled myself. I haven't got one this big at work. Now my daughter has now taken it over.

I don't have much to compare this to in the realm of other, higher end LCDs as I've never worked with any higher priced monitors, but we liked the first one we bought enough to buy a 2nd! My husband plays World of Warcraft and has nothing but praise for the one I purchased him a few months ago, has not had any problems with speed or "dead pixels" or "ghosting"...same for the 2nd one we just purchased this week. I wish it adjusted to go higher and lower, but it does tilt up and down (I think the Dell LCDs adjust higher and lower), but otherwise it's pretty awesome having a 19" flat screen for a decent price!
