Doesn't work with Tiger, August 16, 2005
This review is from: BenQ M310 Wireless Mouse Slvr/blk (Personal Computers)
When you connect this thing to OS X Tiger, expect very strange things to happen. I'm going to sell this one to a pc person and buy myself a nifty new mighty mouse!

A great idea but it doesn't last., September 17, 2005
This review is from: BenQ M310 Wireless Mouse Slvr/blk (Personal Computers)
This mouse relies on a short insert that fits into a USB port, It is very vulnerable to damage if you move your laptop or heaven forbid use it as a LAPTOP. (i.e. on your lap.) I puchased my mouse on July 7, 2005 and it went bye bye on Sept 17th 2005. I am really angry about the fragility of the adapter. I had to buy batteries 4 times during that short period. It is a great mouse that needs better engineering. Think twice before spending $37.00 for 2 months use.

Works good on black only and eats batteries, September 7, 2005
This review is from: BenQ M310 Wireless Mouse Slvr/blk (Personal Computers)
My mouse works great but only on black surfaces. On other dark colors (blue, brown) the pointer dosen't move then skips across the screen. On a blank sheet of white printer paper it dosen't move at all. I have an old black and white cow patterned mouse pad and the pointer only moves when the sensor is on the black areas.
The other problem is that it uses batteries quickly. So buy a set of rechargeables to use with it. I have had this mouse for about a month and I have used four sets of aaa's in it. After the problems I mainly only ues the mouse at home on nights and weekends.
Additionally when you put the mouse in a bag it is easy for the button that ejects the transmitter to get pushed and turn on the mouse. After this happened twice I started to take the batteries out when I transported it.
As much as I think they make enough money, my advice is buy the microsoft version of this.
Pros: Small size!, fairly comfortable for the size, tracks well on black surfaces.
Cons: Mine only works on black surfaces, uses batteries quickly, transmitter pops out easily during transport.
Just my expierence.
