My sole mission when researching which monitor to buy was to find one with very, VERY low input delay (Lower than one frame of input delay).

I came across a few choices, but the BenQ RL2450HT was the newest offering of those choices and provided the best feature set in my opinion (LED, 24", Fantastic Stand, Gaming Modes) while being only about 20-30 dollars more. Upon opening this monitor, I was completely astounded by how high quality the stand was. The construction of the entire monitor feels solid from top to bottom... no cheap feel at all here. The stand/mount is phenomenal and allows for MAJOR manipulation which include angle adjustment, height adjustment, and display orientation. Much more than any other display I've seen.

I can't comment too much on the image quality/colors. They look great to me and that's all that matters. I'm not too picky with it because TN panels don't tend to be the best at that stuff anyways.

As stated earlier, the priority was finding the fastest monitor at a reasonable price and I truly believe I found it. I did some testing on this video if anyone cares to watch. [...]

Tons of options in the menu. Navigation buttons are cleverly thought out and convenient. The screen quality is excellent for a non-IPS. The blacks are black and best of all, the response time is very fast. I sold my 27" IPS to my brother and bought this. IPS monitors still have too high of input lag and I saw lots of ghosting in games. For the price, this is a great deal. The build quality is sturdy and it even has a adjustable stand, which is excellent.

The reason for the 4 stars is because whoever is selling these, they go to great lenghts to make the monitor look brand new, when in fact, it is not. Many of these are returns or refurbished sold as new. Buyer beware and make sure you check carefully when you receive yours. Way too much of a hassle to return, specially when I'm stuck without a monitor for over a week...

I purchased this monitor as a replacement for two 20" monitors (Dell and Visio) I used for gaming purposes. This BenQ is better than my previous two monitors in every way.

BenQ has been on my radar as a gaming monitor for a while. I did a lot of research and my wife bought me the RL2450HT for our 1 year wedding anniversary. This is the RTS (Real Time Strategy) version monitor, and that is important to understand. The RTS version comes pre-configured to use the RTS setting out of the box. Keep this in mind the first time you plug it in and power it on as it will likely disappoint you unless this is why you bought it. You need to make adjustments and I set it to RGB setting and turned the brightness down to a setting of 5. This gave me a great 1st setting, but I also needed to run the monitor calibration tool in Windows to close up the gaps with gamma and grey shading. Once I did I found my BenQ monitor to be perfectly beautiful and sharp and crisp at 1080P.
I would highly recommend BenQ monitors for their refresh rate of 2ms is rocking fast. The step up in this monitor will cost you an extra $150 for a 1ms response rate but I honestly felt this monitor did perfectly well. Just remember it is setup for RTS games mainly, and the color will not be as crisp and bright as other monitors. Look past that and you find a great monitor that hands Need for Speed, Skyrim, and most FPS games perfectly. The build quality is amazing as well and shows in just how much detail they put into making this monitor. It feels sturdy and strong and comes with rotation and height adjustment that makes other monitors feel lacking.

Exactly what the other reviewers had said. Good quality and performance. Only wish is that it had built in speakers.

I looked online for the best rated monitor and this is what I found to go with my CyberPower Black Pearl water cooled gaming machine. I upgraded from a 5 ms refresh rate to 2ms w/ this monitor which hasn't increased my survival rate online but did jack the graphics on a couple games to where I get killed while standing marveling at the detail. Has a nice flat matte screen that does not reflect nor smudge as easily. The base is solid & heavy and will pivot maybe 180* side to side. The support arm telescopes up / down 4"- 6". The screen itself tilts forward and back and will swivel 180* so that the height is greater than the width. I can find no negatives.
