5.0 out of 5 stars Best tool ever invented
I am from New York,I have alot of buildings. This tool should never, never been discontinued! I make tools and invent things at home all the time and this the best tool I have ever bought! Yes it bends but you learn to use it properly and bend it back, very easy if you are not Lazy in the first place! Very disappointed with this being discontiued!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it, March 2, 2008
This review is from: Bench Dog Snow Barber Roof Rake 1000101 (Lawn & Patio)
I've used the snow barber for 3 winters and love it. The best feature is how the snow barber slides over the snow when you push up. You don't need to lift the thing except to get it on the roof. When you pull, it digs into the snow.

Then you get to see the next great part. On a regular snow rake you have a problem if you dig too much snow. It packs and then you have a major problem. With the snow barber, the head frame digs into the snow and the snow is held by the poly slide. If you got too enthusiastic, the extra just slides off the back and you remove as much as the plastic slide holds. When you reach the edge of the roof, the snow keeps sliding right off the plastic.

I don't know what the other reviewer did to bend the frame. I suppose if you repeatedly slam the frame against an ice dam, you can break it. You can break it by driving over it too. duh.

I'm 62 with a bad back and can't imagine using anything else.
