Wow! What a wonderful romantic adventure filled with exciting twists, heart jerking emotions, angst and best of all romance. I didn't want to put it down! The characters and descriptions were so vividly drawn, the storyline absolutely captivating. This is one I will read again and again. I so hated to see this book end. A Great Read!!

This book is packed with adventure, sensual tension that had me sweating, conflict, danger, an independent, fiery heroine and a HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT, mega-alpha male, pirate hero. I WANT to be Bran's girl! I found this story to be emotionally engaging and the ending satisfying, my only regret was that I couldn't keep on reading. I fell in love with Elyssa and Bran. A wonderfully written tale that will not dissapoint!!!! Well done!

Before I start, I want to verify that this book doesn't really go with the whole 'pirate' idea: yes, they are pirates but they are kind, fair and don't kill the innocent and there is probly one fighting scene. Basically, this book really is a chick flick in writing. With that being said, I loved it lol. It was a fun and romantic read that I wish lasted longer. Once everyone finds out Elyssa is indeed a women, it starts to get interesting and Elyssa and Captain Bran start the 'cat and mouse' game. I loved reading it and look forward to reading more from Mrs. Weber.

Let me say that I have loved this whole series! I am not sure how this book fits in because the characters aren't connected as far as I could tell but I LOVED it! The story is great. Even for a novella it kept my attention and didn't leave me feeling like I missed out on anything. Truly a great read.

Elyssa is newly widowed and on a ship under the pretense of being a man. She finds herself on Bran's pirate ship and once her true identity is discovered he has ways that she can make herself helpful while she is stuck on the ship. The sexual tension is written very nicely and the whole book is amazing.

Definitely worth a read I would highly recommend!

What more can I say about this heartwarming, swashbuckling adventure! I love pirate stories yet the major publishers seem to shun them in favor of Regencies. Thank goodness, Jennifer Bray-Weber came along. How refreshing to have a book that holds my attention and offers a true story of love and sacrifice.

Good, but predictable.I thought Captain Blackthorn was boring, and it seemed his character never fully developed and the ending anti-climatic.
