This book left me breathless. I loved the whole premise of 1 man trying to go back in time to avenge a wrong done to him and thousands of other people. The search for the vampire that bit him is a journey you will never forget! Yet through the whole process the man learns something of himself and changes to become a better person, without having to kill his intended victim! Learning the history of ancient Egypt was enthralling. The main characters of this book will take you by the hand on this incredible journey!! I definitely recommend this book to those interested in ancient Egypt and vampires and to those who enjoy a romance novel full of surprises.

Although it is tough to beat the success of her previous six books, Mrs Van Horne has put forth her best book yet in Beneath the Wings of Isis. Over 500 pages of brilliant writing, Beneath the Wings of Isis is brilliant. You will not be able to put this book done!

I'm convinced the reviews before me are written by friends of the author. I can't even finish it. Lame lame lame. Sorry! Not the "amazing journey through time".

Beneath the Wings of Isis is an exciting twist to regular time travel tales. There is love and adventure which is the usual theme. The gods, vampires, pharaoh and mystic genius blend is such away that it was really hard to put the book down. Just as interesting as The Time Traveler's Wife, but more daring.

I am a time travel lover, I devour all the books about traveling thru time I can get my hands on. This is one awesome series, and #7 of the series is different than the others but still gets my vote of 5 stars! A must read for time travelers who love Holly Van Horn.
