I received this book in Oct 2008. It is beautifully bound and the pictures are fantastic. The only problem I found was that the ink on some of the pages bleed through to the backing page. This seems to have occured only with the green ink. The book is a wonderful example of ancient calligraphy, historical graphic design and images. The book would probably be of interest to the following individuals: Calligraphers, Historians of ancient manuscripts, Historians of the development of our alphabet, Reglious Historians and Theologians. Because the book is no longer in print, it is difficult to find a copy for sale and the price is often over [...]. |
