I own and love John O'Donohue's book "To Bless the Space Between Us (A book of Blessing)", so when I saw "Benedictus (A Book of Blessings" I thought it would be new material. Be warned that there are seven sections of blessings, but THEY ARE IDENTICAL to those in To Bless the Space Between Us. There is one section at the end of the book with some editorial comments that are different, but I am disappointed to have bought the same book twice under two names.

This is the most incredible book I have ever experienced. I give it to all my friends as gifts. John O'Donohue is an extra-ordinary poet, philosopher and priest. I have had the blessing of knowing him, studying under him and missing him terribly since his sudden death. This is a collectors item, undiscovered.

In this book John O'Donohue gives us blessings to share with ourselves and others for numerous occasions. The real blessing is the gift he gives us with his writings.

I purchased this book for one of my daughters for Christmas. She was thrilled to receive it, especially since we found the author's poem on Grieving so impressive when we came across it a few years back. She was very pleased to have the book in her possession. - This item was purchased through Amazon.com.

John O'Donohue writes meditative poetry. This book has become a treasured part of my "Quiet Time" reading and never fails to inspire new directions of thought. I am very thankful to the friends who introduced his work to me, and I am pleased to recommend it to others.
