I love how it leaves a soft pink sheen on your lips.

I'm guessing BeneFit paid the magazine for the review... I hate the scent.

I promise I will use it forever~ Love the color~ you can use it together with other lip gross or only it, it shines and makes your lip color so so so good~ I use a lip brush so I can put it on my lip evenly.

the product was received promptly. it gives lips a beautiful color. The big problem: the product expired 04/12 and was ordered 03/12. Just found out. Didn't occur to me to check before using. Would have send it back.

This balm is so gooey that it doesn't last at all once applied. The color is wonderful, like you've eaten ripe berries, but I want my lip color to last a while and this is so liquidy that it doesn't last 10 minutes. It's also awkward to apply with your fingers, since the balm stains the fingertips. I relegated this balm to my cosmetic drawer where things I don't use go to die. Every once in a while, I'll get it out and try again, but so far, no go. I've had mine for years and it's barely been used at all. Although I like the rosy color, there are now better options that last much longer upon the lips. I've never been one for lip gloss, which is very sticky and gooey, but mainly because I don't want to be bothered to reapply it every few minutes. This would be nice for a young girl for her first foray into makeup. Girls inevitably check the mirror often and maybe wouldn't be bothered by the need to constantly reapply. Other than that, I don't see much use for it unless you're prone to very chapped lips. Even then, this formulation wouldn't offer much consolation. It's far too light and not at all waxy enough. Find something else to spend your money on. I wish I'd passed on this balm.

I tried the Lip Balm a few times and really liked the cute color. The color lasted a while, but the balm did not. It wore away after about ten minutes, like most do, but soon my lips felt drier than usual. I use a really great lip moisturizer and my lips are pretty healthy so to notice this, well the product must be drying. I did not read over the ingredients list so I don't know what caused the drying, but I did like the color and was able to put my own lip product over the top and keep the cute color. I would not purchase it for $20, it's way too pricey for just the color benefit, but I may try the original Benetint as a lip stain for under my lip stuff!

I saw this in a magazine and it got rave reviews. It seems to have a cult following behind it of girls and women who can't live without the stuff. I liked the packaging and I loved how creamy it looked on the website... I gawked at the price but the jar looked so big that it would be worth it.

When I recieved it I noticed the jar was smaller than the picture led me to believe. (I'm a sucker... I know) and when I opened the jar it was also a lot more sheer. However, it did make my lips feel nice and it was a pretty shade. Its kind of a sheer reddish pink and it has a glossy "i just ate a popsicle" look to it. Very cute and natural.

Unfortunately this stuff does not stay on for anything! I thought this would be like Benetint and actually stain my lips, especially since that's what the magazine review said it would do. I'm guessing BeneFit paid the magazine for the review...

I hate the scent. I think it's supposed to smell of roses but mostly it smells like chemicals, it tastes bad too. Not good for kissing. Also, this balm contains carmine, which is a pigment made from boiling a certain type of beetles to death. Yuck.
