We were living in Virginia in an apartment. We were getting roaches from another apartment and tried everything. An exterminator came and made no difference. We set out traps and were catching 5 or six roaches a night. Finally my mother-in-law from Texas told me that they use a spray called Bengal and that it works miricles. I had to order it online because they only sell it in the south (it's made in Louisiana). I ordered 2 cans. We sprayed the heck out of our whole kitchen. The roaches stopped coming in from under our sink. A few weeks later we sprayed again to take care of any eggs that may have hatched. This stuff has completely stopped the problem. We spray now every couple of months and I will forever swear by this stuff. Roaches are a hard problem to get rid of but this stuff does the job! I would give it more than five stars if i could.

When we moved into our new home several years ago, life was grand. It was a beautiful subdivision, located in a "woodsy" area, surrounded by Maple and Plum trees. We certainly enjoyed those Fall and Winter months in our new home. Sadly, it wouldn't last. When Spring arrived, our neighborhood was literally invaded by thousands of nasty cockroaches. They were everywhere - in our kitchen, bathrooms, sinks and bedroom. I even caught one wiggling around in my Captain Crunch cereal. That was the last straw! Nothing interferes with the Captain. That very day, we called my brother-in-law, who works for a local Pest control company and bears an uncanny resemblance to Dale Gribble. He even drives a truck with a giant, plastic cockroach on top. Dale, I mean, my brother-in-law, recommended Bengal Roach Spray as the perfect, cost-effective solution. We immediately grabbed 10 cans of their strongest stuff and commenced to nuking. Within a week, our problem was gone. Little corpses piled up everywhere with detached legs and antenna scattered throughout the house. Now it might just be my imagination but, in the corner of my eye, I swear that I caught a fleeting glimpse of a tiny white flag being waved in the air. Good enough for me. Bengal works.

This product is just too good. After one use we had 90% of the roaches dead.

I believe after the second use we will finally get rid of all of them.

I saw a GIANT cockroach on my bathroom wall last night and promptly started crying. I know it's completely pathetic, but I've never had to deal with this before--my dad, brother, or boyfriend has always been there to help--and I was at a loss for what to do. So I closed the door, shoved dishtowels in the crack, checked Amazon, and went and bought some of this stuff at midnight. I didn't know where in the bathroom the roach was, so I just sprayed some of this under the door and hoped for the best. This morning, I checked it out, and the roach was completely dead in the tub AND a baby roach that I hadn't even seen before was dead too. I'm glad I sprayed my whole living room and kitchen also; I'm sure I got some bugs I didn't know were there.

SERIOUSLY, get this stuff. It's permethrin, unlike other products, and it works so so so well. I'm from Houston and have dealt with roaches in every house I've ever lived in, and I simply haven't gotten used to how unbelievably disgusting they are. Bengal did the trick. This is virtually odorless (unless you stick your face straight in it), easy to use, and the $5 price difference from Raid and other products is worth it for the peace of mind. If I see another roach, I'm doing the exact same thing: trapping it in a room, spraying under the door, and waiting for the poison to work.

This is the first Amazon review I've ever written, and I seriously can't say enough good things about this product; I felt like I had to share. Living alone as a young woman in a big city is scary enough sometimes, and the little things you have to deal with every day can be hard. Going out at midnight to buy roach spray just so you can use your bathroom in the morning sucks, but taking care of it on my own with the help of this product felt good. Now I don't have to call my dad in tears next time I see a roach.

But I do still have to take it out of my tub. Gross.

This can weighs very little because it is a dry powder and a compressed air delivery system. It is very effective. There is a light odor, likely the propellent, not the dry powder. We were very happy to see fewer roaches. Those pesky jerks!!!!

We are military and moved into a new place which the previous tenant left filthy. We kept seeing and killing giant roaches and I was sick of it so I bought this stuff at the store. I had it for about a week and didn't do anything with it but one morning I woke up to a big nasty roach in the kitchen and it ran under the cabinet before I could kill it. So I opened the spray and sprayed just under the portion of the canine where I thought he was and walked away to get ready. I came back like 15 minutes later and there were two huge roaches on their backs so I swept them up and went to go work out. Upon returning two hours later there were two more dead roaches in the floor....All this from one 3 second button press in the corner of the room.

Encouraged I picked up the can and sprayed under the dishwasher, fridge and cabinets and withing minutes roaches of all sizes came running out. I couldn't believe there were so many. I can't believe that guy lived like that.

I the sprayed the fireplace and the water heater closet. I can't even tell you how many roaches I died. They just died everywhere.

My whole house is getting sprayed down and I will follow up with another round of this stuff every month. It just really kicked their nasty little butts. I have never seen such an effective roach spray. Highly recommended.
