I have probably purchased a dozen or more fire ant poisons...some better than others. Someone told me about this product and I tried it...it kills 'em very efficiently. What I particularly like is that it does not require sprinkling with water after application. Just spread a small amount on the ant hill and it's a goner.

One heads up....first go around I went through a can full of the stuff, like quick!!! Come to find out, I was using way more of the powder than is needed. Read the directions...it will save you money!!! This stuff really works.

We used UltraDust 2X fire ant killer before we went away for the weekend and when we returned there was no sign of the heavy fire ant infestation we left behind - nor were there any other ants or bugs! The whole back yard was completely clear. We have pets who are in and out of the yard, and we didn't want to expose them, or ourselves, to the powder (as directed) yet we wanted to leave it in the yard for a few days because our ant problem was so bad this year. A weekend away proved to be the perfect solution. Six weeks later, still not an ant to be seen. If we get invaded again, we know just what to do!

After fighting all types of ants for several years and putting various ant killers on our soil, a friend told me about Bengal. I ordered a couple of containers and the ants disappeared. I reordered 10 more containers and the ants have almost disappeared from our land.. I am spreading this over 5 acres, but have saved back several of the 10 containers just to be ready for spring time. Easy to use, just sprinkle and go to the next ant hill. Next couple of days, the ant hills are vacant.

I am very impressed with this product. Follow the directions and you
will see a huge reduction in ant mounds. It doesn't prevent ants from
moving in from other yards but I see about 80% less mounds after
second treatment. Kills the whole mound!

This stuff is the best......... I will say that I probably use slightly more than is required or the amount of mounds per can is based on a small mound. For those non believers I would say you used it improperly or something diluted it after application. Technique is important though. I rake over the mound to break it up and then apply liberally. The next day every thing is dead. You can then simply spray it down with a hose to uncover the grass and settle the dirt. For those that think it doesn't kill the queen you are assuming that there isn't another colony in the next yard over giving birth to another queen. During the "Fire Ant" season you would have to probably kill every colony in a 10 mile radius to protect your yard from invasion. The attached show a mound that was about 12 inches in diameter before I raked it out. Take a look a the close up and witness the carnage. Dead ant, Dead ant, dead ant....

I have a 110 acre ranch and have lots of ants. I had tried almost every product on the market and was disappointed with them all. Then by chance I found Bengal Fire Ant Killer on a dusty shelf of a small hardware store. I thought since I've tried every product the big stores have, why not try this one. WHAT A GREAT FIND THIS WAS!!! IT TOTALLY WIPED OUT EVERY ANT MOUND I SPRINKLED IT ON, and quickly. Now I'm on my way to see if the same hardware store has any more since I have many more mounds to cover with this dust. All the other products did NOT work, and this product only requires one application with no water.

I had 8 or so mounds in my yard and it did a good job, however, within a couple of days there were small mounds popping up. i've been chasing them and feel i have them under control. What i like is that it doesnt require watering in so it is easy to use. I also treated my neighbors yard and an empty lot. i've been through 2 cans for about 70 mounds. i really dont believe there is a cure-all. i gave it 4 stars for ease of use and the fact that it does kill the nest. a smaller mound will just pop up somewhere else so minus a star.

I read the reviews for this product so I thought it would work for my ant problem. To be honest, this product killed everything but the fire ants.I followed the directions and on every mound I treated the ants just opened a new entry hole just a foot or so away from the one I had treated.I treated all of the new holes and they just opened a new hole. This product did kill the harvester ants and some termites in my yard so it wasn't a complete waste of my money.Oh well, back to the drawing board...

This product cleaned my acre yard out in a matter of a week! I love it because you can stir the little pests up and then powder them down to carry off to the queen! I didn't use it at any specific time of day, and I have been pacing the yard after a rain to catch up on the ones left behind. (You do know they have a profound tunnel system right?) I used 2 cans to rule my yard! I kept 1 can for maintenance after a rain, and I haven't seen a hill since!
