I have been reading palms for years and find this book to be the finest and most complete I have ever seen. Although the pictures and diagrams are dated,the knowledge is exceptional. The only draw back is that I would not recommend this book for beginners. You must have a solid knowledge of palmistry before studying this book. The vast majority of books out there are the exact same one repeated with flashy diagrams and pictures. This book is an actual scientific look at Palm reading

This book by William Benham is known as the Bible of Palmistry! For any serious student and practitioner of Palmistry, this book is a must in your library.

I have a library of over 60 books on hand reading, collected in my travels around the world, and while many have this or that good feature, with a few exceptions, many are also not breaking any new ground. Mr. Benham, on the other hand, sets the standard for the empirical approach to hand analysis. And it is a very good standard indeed. I kinda, sorta disagree with the user who said he is not for beginner. I think he lays down a marvelous foundation for the beginner who wants to be more than an interesting diversion or flashy sensation. When you have Mr. Benham under your belt, you have a gauge by which to evalute the somewhat croweded field of books on palmistry. So get it, absorb it, and if you do that, you are a serious student of this wonderful skill.

I am studying palmistry and contrary to what another reader has said, I have found it the easiest book yet to learn from. This is because it is written in a way that makes the information easy to absorb and remember, rather than just lists of points, and I am actually managing to remember it all very well. It also is written in a way that is designed especially for someone who is seriously trying to learn and not just for fun, so I think its excellent.

The book for in-depth study of palmistry as long as you keep in mind that it was originally published in 1900. There is much excellent material here; so, you are encouraged to read it carefully. A caution: There is a brief breakdown of landmarks in the introduction (page xxiv) that is very easy to miss; consequently, reading and comprehension can be challenging in places because significant areas of the hand are referenced. Those in-depth explanations are in later chapters.

Good shipping time.......though book was very detail oriented and took some time to decipher. Would have preferred a more to-the-point version.

If you want to know about palm reading then get this. I just find this subject Boring!
