This coolest thing about Benjamin Moore aura paint it that every aura paint color matches other aura paint colors! I learned this from the paint store. Benjamin Moore was running a promotion at the time--they gave away free color wheels of aura paint colors. It is amazing to see how we'll random colors match. It is liberating to me--I know I can't make a mistake on matching colors! I am not very creative with colors--aura takes the mystery out of choosing colors--I am empowered! I think they sell the color wheels for about $10. I highly recommend purchasing the color wheel.

The paint also covers very well. I painted my living room about 3 years ago. Color is still fresh and vibrant. It is definitely worth the money!

We recently had great success with the Benjamin Moore Aura Paint! The color I picked was called Handmade and the finish was Eggshell. In our guest bedroom, the walls are wood paneling and therefore porous. For this reason, we did do a coat of separate primer. I think if you were painting on drywall or plaster, the separate primer wouldn't be necessary. Once the primer was dry, we continued with one coat of the Aura. That's all it needed! My boyfriend and I were so pleased with how evenly it applied and how fast it dried. There were no harsh odors; we didn't even crack the window like we had to do with the primer (different brand). This was the easiest paint job I've ever done. When I asked my boyfriend if there was anything he wanted to include in the review, he said, "I can't say enough about how well it covers. That Aura paint covers ridiculously well!" We will buy this paint again when we tackle the kitchen. I was able to try this product because I am a BzzAgent.

Do not waist your money! I used this interior paint on newly built house because you could wash off fingerprints, etc. (I have 3 children).
It does not wash off easily. In fact it seems to absorb anything that gets on it and will not wash off. The worst problem we had was in the bathrooms. It sweats with the slightest bit of humidity from a shower or bath. I called and they told me to wash the walls with soap and water and that might help! Do not but this product!

I normally use BEHR Paint for my interior painting projects, but when I received Bzzz agent discount coupons for Aura paint I decided to give it a try.

I decided to start with a small test project to see if I would like the paint. I have an old yellow laundry cart which is an eye sore. I decided to paint it white to match the washer and dryer.

As soon as I started working with the paint I noticed the most significant difference -- this paint does not have any smell at all. It also dried very quickly. I was able to put a new coat as soon as I finished the first coat. When I finished painting two coats of paint I was able to put the cart back in its place and put back all the items right away. The entire process took less than one hour.

I am attaching the before and after photos (you can located the photos under the 'customer photos' link under the main photo).

I did not expect to find a big difference between the paint I used to use and this one, but the differences were very noticeable. It was very nice to work with the paint that did not smell and dried so quickly.

Aura flat: I bought it from another source and I'm unimpressed. I buy a lot of paint and found it didn't cover all that well. I thought it had quite a chalky-appearance.... Yes, I know it's flat but it wasn't a good look, for me, anyway. The Aura flat is "optimized for hot, humid, steamy environment" which is great if you want a flat paint look in the bathroom. It will not accentuate any drywall mistakes. (If you have a bathroom moisture problem, you many also want to invest in a good inline fan; very quiet and very efficient). Unlike other Aura paints, I found this product is not a one coater (I don't think any paint is...) and even with two, I could still see a few streaks. The Aura line is expensive. I'm not sure it's worth it. Some of the BM colors are nice but others tend to be muddy. Parker Paint is cheaper, covers better and is used by many professionals. They've been recently taken over by Sherwin Williams but the original Parker Paint (they're keeping the Parker formulas) is still available at some SW stores, if you ask. You can get Parker, SW colors, or custom matches.

The worst paint and most expensive. This paint did NOT do what it is promised. You can see through paint color to the old color. It stains. It does not clean up well. There is NOTHING I like about this paint but it's colors. Ps- we had a professional painter paint our whole interior. Very disappointed in quali and cost.

This is amazing paint. Repainted a dining room that was a deep blue to light gray. 2 coats and no primer
and not a trace of the blue left Totally worth the extra cost

This is great paint for the house, however if you use the bath and spa version be prepared. It stinks for a long time every time the room warms up. I used it in the bathroom and the ceiling in my foyer. Both of these areas still stink 4 months later. The odd part is more noticable when the temperature rises above 75 degrees..

I bought this paint for my bathroom in the basement. I'm gonna be short and to the point...This paint is one of the worst I had to work with. It splatters a lot,and you need 3 coats to cover completely...It was light green over light yellow...Nothing complicated.
I'm sorry Benjamin Moore but you just lost a customer.
Footnote here...Some people said that it didn't smell much, but after 2 days mine still smells. And only time will tell if it's easy to clean and a good paint for a bathroom.
