I recently purchased a pair of the Koss Tony Bennett Signature Edition headphones. These are the same as the Koss ProDJ100 Headphones but they come with a nice travel case, a detachable cable, the Tony Bennett Duets II album download, and the ear cups have a silver Tony Bennett signature printed on them. Other than that (and the box I suppose) they are the same headphone design and the same driver. I had heard many good things about these headphones, so when I saw them for a good price I decided to buy a pair and find out what the hype was about.

To make this easier to read I'm going to break it up the review into a few different categories: build quality & design, accessories, comfort, and sound.

Build Quality & Design: 4.5/5

When I first open these up I was struck by how good looking they are. They have a nice shine to the black cups, and although I honestly can't say I'm a Tony Bennett fan, the silver signature on the cups makes these look real classy. These definitely have a great appearance. However, the construction didn't really impress me much (at first). Now that I've had some time with them though, these feel quite well made. While mainly made of plastic, there are some key parts made of metal and the plastic parts feel extremely solid. The cups on these swivel and allow you to store them in the case, or to actually fold the headphones in half for travel without the case. There is a mono/stereo switch on teh bottom of the right which is supposed to be for DJing, but I think it is a bit gimmicky. If I had to pick a negative I would say that the coiled cable isn't my favorite because I think these are more aimed at being portables, and the coil makes the cable more bulky and heavy.

I have the phones for nearly a month now and can only say I'm really satisfied with it. It sounds exactly how it should, so if you looking for that "Beats-Fake-Bass" sound, these are the wrong headphones.
The shells and frame are made of aluminum or some kind of light alloy which gives the headphones resistance without being bulky and heavy. There are some plastic pieces on the joints, though, but nothing that makes it weaker. The headband is really flexible, giving you a lot of freedom to twist it around, use only one side (using the mono-stereo switch or not. By the way, this is a nice feature too)...
You can find some reviews of people saying the cushions are not comfortable, but I haven't found any problems with them until now. They don't let much noise enter inside, but leak a lot to the outside.
The hard case and the detachable chord are really nice if you plan to transport it from a place to another. Also, the cups fold flat, so they fit compactly in the case.

And maybe what I mostly liked about it: The price (I payed $85, with free 2-day Amazon Prime shipping). If you're not into this ridiculous Beats fever, you will pay a much more reasonable price for a better (in my opinion) and clearer sound.

Go for it!

I got this headset for 70$ in Amazon. I do not listen to music much, I just use it while I am using my laptop, watching TV shows, etc. I mean that I am not really good judging the quality of a headset in terms of music playing quality. For 70$, I recommend buying this product.

Solid design and solid sound. There isn't as much response to bass as your mainstream brand head phones, but this is a good thing as I feel the frequency response is more accurate to real life, rather than clouding it up with boom boom sounds. It has a metal finish which gives it a solid feel. I feel Bennett's signature on it is a little gay, though I don't care too much. Detachable cable is a nice addition to finish off the product so you don't get your cord tangled. Happy with the purchase.

Beautiful sound, crisp, clear, dynamic, well balanced and modulated. On my particular head they are a bit tight and cover my ears completely. They are a great deal this week (10-02-12) as Tuesday Morning is selling them for $49. Using them primarily with my Grace Digital IR-500 internet tuner and Kindle Fire HD. The coiled detachable cord with adapter is especially nice because it doesn't get caught on my chair or drag stuff off my desk. Very happy with them.

Light weight, durable! I rate them the best Headphones I've ever owned. Solid design and solid accurate sound. The weight and comfort are a major plus. My neck wasn't hurting or felt fatigued after a 7hr. gig. I didn't care much for the "Bennett signature" on it, but once on, it's not noticeable. Having a detachable cable is nice. I have never been let down by Koss and this is still the case. I have used Technics, Pioneer, Sony's and other name brand sets and for the price you will not have better headphones.
