Colonial North Carolina,
By
This review is from: Bennett's Welcome (Hardcover)
Inglis Clark Fletcher bring history to life with her outstanding Carolina series, which has set the standard for historical fiction with accurate (before the Internet) and deep research into early colonial history. The second in the series, which began with ROANOKE HUNDRED, BENNETT'S WELCOME takes place in 1651. All whites are immigrants to this new land and Richard Monington, Lord of Coddington is no exception. A flight from London allows him to develop a new life in a new world and he has the strength to do it. An excellent read. Nash Black, author of Indie finalists, WRITING AS A SMALL BUSINESS and HAINTS. |
