This CD is a must have for all jazz enthusiasts and lovers of swing music. Opening with the classic "Let's Dance" Benny's clean cut clarinet solo continues to amaze while the superiority of his handpicked band is as clear as ever. Benny's clarinet concerto "Clarinet a la King" is one of his best demonstrations as a musician and swing soloist. The eternally popular "Sing, Sing, Sing" is given new meaning and interpretation and meaning through extended solos. A word of caution, if you do not like 1930s-1940s swing music, you will not like this CD. However if you do enjoy swing music like Goodman or Miller then this is one of the best compilation albums you will find anywhere.

Goodman never fails to deliver. This disc has everything: smashing hits, variety, charm, poignancy, as well as a swinging fun time! A genius.

I loved the cassette tape - Benny Goodman - Greatest Hits, but the tape broke after over use. I was thrilled to see a CD with same name and picture on the front. Everything is perfect except - the version of Sing, Sing, Sing. It is not the same version as is on the cassette. Very disappointing, as that was my favorite song on the tape and the one I was most anxious to have. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of the cassette tape with the original songs, please contact me.
