Gentlemen.........I absolutely cherish and admire ALL of the works of Benny Goodman.
He is a LEGEND and THE first name that comes to mind when you mention the Big Band Era.
That being said, I HAVE to ask a question....What is this about $ 199.98 for this item ??
What is it about this CD that begs to be charging this INORDINATE amount of money for a CD of 14 (yes, FOURTEEN) songs ??......Is it pressed on gold, or platinum ??....Is it a typo ?....Is it THE only surviving set of these songs on Earth ?
Maybe I am wrong, but at the price of $ 199.98........that puts the price of each song at the paltry sum of
$ 14.284285714285714285714285714286
Yes.....It makes each song just over $ 14.28 apiece......The cost of 1 (one) average cd per track........
As I have said, I flat out come to a stop at whatever it is I am doing when any song Benny would play comes on.
He is a legend, an icon.....
But I think even the business side of Mr. Goodman would be appalled at this price.....
Say it ain't so !!!!!!!!!.........PLEASE say it ain't so..........
