First off let me say that: DAMN I LOVED WATCHING BENNY HILL BACK IN THE 1980s ! Those were the days before being PC, and when the editing on most American TV stations was not as severe as it is in these days of lost free speech. If you believe that UNRATED and UNADULTERATED labels on your DVD purchases will bring you the complete and unedited versions of the original BENNY HILL SHOWS then be prepared to be disappointed. Shame on A&E and others for selling me a severely edited version of one of my favorite shows of all time. Where's the naughty bits??? Must have lost those on the cutting room floor. Feel free to watch this edited version with the kids because they removed the "adult" from "unadulterated" and so now you can play these at your local church social without hardly raising an eyebrow. Poor Benny will be rolling over in his grave.

I have watched the Benny Hill show since I was a younger man, what a pleasure he was. I still use a lot of his lines today to get a laugh. Most of the time I have to explain the humor or say that was from Benny Hill...most people go, "who?"

I am half british, and I can grasp the humor and the wit very fast. The slap stick humor and skits were always keeping me in stiches. The shows always made my day!

If you want a great collection of humor and risky prevocative woman, then add this to your collection, you will not be dissappointed.

What is there to say? If you love Benny hill you will love this . Its the collection of the lost years- very funny

I bought this 18 disc set for double the price (This one has the discs in individual cases, and maybe a bonus documentary here and there FOR MORE THAN DOUBLE THE PRICE!!! There is a cheaper version ("Complete and Unadulterated")available with 18 discs as well... if I knew that they had the same set of episodes I would have gone for that one. I paid a lot more for extra packaging...

What the hell is wrong with us Americans? While the rest of the civilized world progresses, we are going backward. Most of the funny jokes are related to religion, sex and nudity, the primitive conservative freaks have taken fun out of the American culture and, very soon, will make bible studies and dark ages the mainstay of our lives - grow up act more mature America and more specifically, film/tape/DVD producers!!! At least respect the constitution and allow the rest of us to enjoy the shows in their original language and picture or produce two versions, one for modern and free folks and one for the conservative lost tribe. Bring Benny Hills and similar shows as they were produced. Europeans are laughing at us and deservedly so. We ran away from oppression and suppression and now have created our own religious and cultural dictatorship and fascisim. I am about to change my citizenship and leave this infected land.
