This is NOT the version of "into the night" we all fell in love with. it's still nice but just not the same, for me atleast. If you are thinking of buying this cd solely for the song "into the night" and want the original version, get the cd "no. 1 hits of the 80's"

This CD Shows Benny magnificant voice and writing ability along with his co-writers. The crisp sound and detailed musical arrangement allows listener to feel the emotion and passion behind each and every song. This CD is a must for all Benny fans and fans of his hit "Into The Night.

I had always loved the song INTO THE NIGHT and didn't know who had made it. I finally found out who made it and got the cd on here. I have been listening to it almost everyday. I really love it. Into the night is the most beautiful song I have ever heard in my lifetime. Thank you Benny for being who you are!! My dream now is to see you sing it in person, I hope my dream comes true.

You will find the old radio version on No.1 Hits Of The 80's. This version is o.k., maybe even better than the old one in a way. But I really wanted that old familiar sound.

Benny Mardones has one of the best voices in rock today. His singing voice is as powerful as a Texas tornado in the spring. Every song is excellent on this album and musicianship is great. If you like melodic rock and roll you'll love this album. There's alot of good session players on this album and there is fast driving rock songs throughout most of this CD.

I loved the original "Into the Night" song, but after listening to this album I can say it's not the same. It sounds like his voice just can't do it anymore. I wanted to recieve the original recording, I feel a little cheated. If you are looking for the song played on the radio stay away from this one. Sorry Benny.

I agree that "Into the Night" is a different version on this CD. Why though is what I'd like to know? It's still a good song as long as he's singing it, but on this CD it's just not mind blowing like the one we're used to. He doesn't quite fly 'you' 'into the night' with him in the same way especially at the end where you're used to him losing it in a powerful way like no other! If you loved this song, you know what I mean. All in all though if you like Benny, you'll still like this CD, some of the other tracks are very cool too. It's still worth it.

Never Run, Never Hide is one of the best albums ever recorded. Into the Night is Great, but it's not the best song on the album by far. Benny never reached his potential. He could have been a national icon. His manager did him wrong. I've seen Benny more than any other artist.

It has been digitly remastered and doesn't sound the same. It's still good but not as good as I remembered it.

I love this song and I love his voice. At first I thought it was Steve Perry (the biggest compliment).
