About the Author

Lin Fong-O Neill lives in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Grew up in a place named Poman Village in Hong Kong, Lin has developed a love for nature. Her source of inspiration for the animal books is her childhood home and her Chinese heritage.

Whimsically creative with a message of courage and belief that, Yes we can! Yes we can do anything we set our minds to do.
Though written for children, it is also a reminder to any parent reading to their child. A reminder to always encourage a child that they can BE and DO anything, and as a parent we then must live by that example.
Benny Pig and Mary are both heroes in this sweet story. Mary for believing in Benny Pig and never doubting him, and Benny Pig for his originative life-saving technique and the will to never give up! Bravo!!

I am a big fan of Lin's work. You should check out all of her books since her body of work is excellent. The story is great for reading and didactic for the younger audience. If you are a grown up the lessons give you pause for thought. I have given copies of Lin's books to my friends and they have universally been well received. Looking forward to the next one...
