I love to read Picture Reader books with my 2 1/2 yr old daughter because she thinks she can read along with me (when the pictures come up in the book) and she is very proud of herself. Most of the picture reader stories are silly stories, but entertaining for the little ones. This book is very similar to another one, The Big Snowball one. My daughter gets confused with the two books because the snowball looks like the bubble in both books. I say just buy one, the Big Snowball one is a better read and rhymes.

I purchased this for a bubbles gift baseket for school and the children loved it!

This is the third purchase of Benny's Big Bubble. Our little ones love this picture reader the best. Our two year old has been reading it for months! This is a wonderful and fun way to introduce reading to children. We have about 12 of these readers and our childcare children will choose one of these to read most of the time. There is great interaction and participation that keeps their interest as well as focus. I highly recommend this book.

Rebus is the way to go :) She really enjoys "reading" with me interactively with this book and is now 3. This book has inspired me to get more rebus books. We are not the type to force-feed alphabet or numbers (symbols) to her but reading rebus is an entirely different medium. :)
