Honestly I bought this because of a review from Cheesy Cam blog, and what a disappointment. This terrible fluid head only works fluid vertically and is terrible when panning side to side. The stand is build solely for this fluid head, so forget trying to salvage a decent tripod for the price. What a bad purchase. If you want to buy a good fluid head - look no further then the Fancier series. They are basic, work excellent, and fit universally with so many tripods. I waited to long to return this item because I was busy with work and now I've wasted my money on this thing. Hopefully no one will know any better when I try to sell this piece of garbage on ebay.

Its sturdy, durable and has a nice bag that can store stuff in. The video tri-pod head is amazing. I was super impressed

As another reviewer mentioned the panning is a problem. I originally got a Matthews M25 and returned it because of that issue, to me they seem like the exact same tripod. I ended up opening up the head and putting some slicone sealant in to create some drag on the pan. This worked but there is a little bit of play when jiggling the handle or starting out a pan. The other issue is the location of the quick release tightening knob...if you have a DSLR the knob will hit the bottom of the camera preventing a lock. Overal it is a dissapointment. I have a cheapo Velbon Videomate tripod that I got for $50 and the pan/tilt of the head is great so I thought I was upgrading to this one. I'm going to have to not recommend this.

This is a very sturdy video tripod. The head could be a bit smoother but for the most part, it works as it should. Sturdy legs, working versatility and came with a pretty nice travel bag. I've had some pretty bad experiences with badly made video tripods. Quality video tripods with fluid head mounts can get really expensive. Its good to finally have a nice one for a relatively low price.
