I've been looking for a set of cork placemats with a rooster design to replace some I'd gotten long ago. They were hard to find so I was quite interested in these and decided to try them. They're wonderful. They are good quality and the design is much more colorful than the pictures showed. I'm very pleased and would order these again.

The top layer is a simple plastic film that bubbles and peels back around the edges after being wiped a few times or if you spill liquid - which is impossible to prevent on a daily used dinner table. I you remove that layer once it starts peeling by itself, what you have left is some kind of cardboard. I sprayed it with a coat of protective varnish, but the placemats still got totally damaged. They are fine, vibrant and beautiful to use as mere decoration - but get damaged if you actually use them for what they are supposed to be used!

These place mats are very high quality and nice as a gift. They were a big hit with our daughter-in-law, who received them, as well as for others who wished they had.

We really like our new placemats. The pictures stay bright even with spic-n-span cleaning. Sticky foods wipe off easily and they're stiff enough to use for HW on the go.

These place mats are much better than expected. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The mats are durable and easy to clean(this helps with 5 boys). Very happy camper!!!

these are made of a hard board material. they are not flexible at all! they DO seem to be well made & are attractive.
i like every thing, except that they are not flexible !
