I wasn't a big fan of some of the questions and lab experiments we had to do with this manual, but it got me through the lab class and I ended up with an A. So, it was useful, but kinda dry and boring.

This book was an easy read and to the point. Although more current versions are also used in Microbiology classrooms, this book was perfect for my class. The pictures made sense with the text, and the index made correlating with other editions quite easy. Also, the shipper was prompt, as it arrived a week before I really needed it. It was used, so there was a little penciling inside, however the condition is over all great.

I usually get very bored with science books. needed this book for college course & amazon always has great prices. I am not a science person, that is the only reason i did not give it 5. Was one of the better micro books i've had. interesting & easy to read.

All of my lab procedures and lab quizzes come straight out of this book, so it works great for me! There are a lot of pictures and illustrations with great background information.

I am so happy I bought this book at amazon.com because the book was in great condition and the price I paid was great! I saved so much money!I am recommending this web site to all my friends and family.

I got this book for a college course and it was shipped to me fast and I had it by my first class in the course so I have nothing to complain about!

This book was also required for my Microbiology College course. It was $30 cheaper then buying a used one through my college. Its great just what I was looking for.
