Bent Handmade Glass Drinking Straw

I find I drink more liquids when I use a straw, but I prefer not to create trash or drink through the toxins used in manufacturing plastic straws. This is a good solution. I've used it for about a month, and have not managed to break it despite heroic attempts (like leaving it on top of a toaster oven in use... dropping it a few times).

The glass straws are wonderful! They tinkle against my tall glass mugs and the feel makes iced drinks more pleasurable. I keep a large mug of iced water or tea beside me and sip from the straw periodically, drinking far more than I normally would throughout the day. They look and feel elegant. I use the BrushTech Sports Bottle Straw Washing Brush to easily clean inside them. I am very happy with them!

I find myself having several large drinks of different things everyday, well does not everyone do that you ask? Maybe, but i mean like i love the 32 oz size drinks. And actually i rarely buy the drinks but make them from a vitamix, large glasses of tea (3bags) or good old water. What do i grab for everytime when i am enjoying a drink, my glass straw of course. Yeah, i have one and just placed an order for a bunch more (for myself/kids/guests/breakages-although a person would have to REALLY try to break this straw/losses/etc.) I have done this as defensive buying b/c i have found that even though something is a great product it won't necessarily be there next month/year/etc. if i need more of it. This way i feel like i can "make it through" w/out losing an accustom luxury "down the road". Sensitive teeth, enjoy ICE cold drinks and never let your teeth know... but your throat will love ya! Best not having any toxic tastes or steely/tinny/off tastes when i drink. Ok, feel like i have done my good deed for the day. I understand this looks like a sales pitch but i am just trying to be real. peace. Side note... please think twice before buying bottled water, get yourself a good bpa free container and save the planet from waste yourself big bucks.

I make really large smoothies daily and had been using plastic straws that were pretty wimpy, collapsed frequently, and went straight to the garbage. Now I use these fantastic glass straws and the bonus is that they are better for the environment. This larger size is perfect for thick, fruity, icy smoothies. The straws have smooth rounded edges and seem quite sturdy. They rinse out easily - and a small aquarium brush fits inside perfectly - but they can also be put into the dishwasher. I've put mine in along with the flatware and they came out fine. I only bought two, but may buy more for guests.

I use drinking straws every day as the delivery method for my Diet Pepsi addiction and I got the glass straws to try to cut down a bit of my plastic consumption. I had gotten into the habit of biting down on the plastic straws before taking a sip which doesn't work so well on glass so I had to be more mindful of what I was doing at first. The glass straws are also wider than the regular plastic straws, but I got used to that as well. I haven't had any problem cleaning them. There is no problem with drink overchilling and causing brain freeze. They have also held up well to being dropped on a wood floor and to the investigations of curious cats.

These straws are so classy. Good for homemade Bellini made with real peaches. I love them and would recommend these to anyone who wants to add a little bit of class to a drink.

I'm trying to get away from plastics. This glass straw is sturdy and thicker than I thought. I use it in a tall glass with a lid for hot and cold drinks. It works great. Made in the USA (YEAH!)

Beautiful hand-made in America straw which frees us from the disposable waste trap. Think of the millions of throw-away straws that litter our roads and streams. Our daughter uses the straw to drink her milk and strengthen the muscles in her face. We bought the Brushtech Sports Bottle Straw Washing Brush(also Made in America) to clean our straw.
