Product Description

When environmental degradation causes the destruction of the planet Lemmus, the Benwarians board a sentient spaceship in search of a new home. They discover Earth only to find it in the same condition as their home planet.
With their superior knowledge and technology, they decide to save Earth by drastically reducing the human population. The book details the alien leader's internal struggle to overcome his sensitivities and euthanize millions of human beings.
Meanwhile, the United States mounts an attack and three scientists attempt to survive. They meet and bond with the alien leader, deepening his anguish.
What is the Benwarian plan to save Earth? Who will survive the alien onslaught? Is the human race doomed? These questions and more are answered as A Benwarian Fix unfolds.

More About the Author

I live on a small ranch in rural Idaho where I contemplate the world around me. Reading and writing have always been a big part of my life. I have read Time magazine from cover to cover for most of my life. I also read a wide variety of non-fiction and fiction books. Somewhere along the way, I became deeply concerned with our environment. I spend enough time outdoors to instinctively feel the climate changing. My first book, A Benwarian Fix, expresses that concern and tries to convey a sense of urgency about the dilemma we face.
I taught reading and writing at the junior high school level for twenty-eight years. An observer of human behavior, I adapted my teaching style to the gifted and talented students in my classes. I learned the value of being positive in my educational approach.

I recently finished The Blue African, a prequel to A Benwarian Fix. It describes the Ebola epidemic of 1975. A Benwarian, Porter Tellez, accompanies two doctors to investigate its causes. He traces the virus back to a research facility in Uganda. When he visits Triton Labs to investigate, other startling discoveries are made. When he runs afoul of the CEO, Porter experiences the power of an American Corporation.
I intended to take a break from writing to market my first two novels, but the urge to create has me firmly in control. My third novel is a YA about a young male who tires of life aboard the Benwarian spaceship and escapes to Earth.
