Berenstains tackle an all to common problem,
By
This review is from: The Berenstain Bears and the Big Blooper (Paperback)
Some people say that Stan and Jan Berenstain -- after writing nearly 300 books over the past 30 years -- are out of ideas. But "The Berenstain Bears and the Big Blooper" show us that there are still plenty of stories to be told by the lovable family that lives in a treehouse deep in Bear Country. It seems that strong language has crept into every aspect of life, and has become very prevalent in television and movies, many now viewed by young children. The story helps families to talk about the use of "bad" words, and adds an important message that parents (and all adults for that matter) should take to heart: adults shouldn't be using these words either (especially around kids). Stan and Jan hit home with this book, and I look forward to more titles, especially in their series of First Time Books, which continue to help families to deal with the first time experiences and important lessons of childhood.

Good Book,
This review is from: The Berenstain Bears and the Big Blooper (Paperback)
This is good book about swearing or cuss words. Also important to never make a big fuss when a kid swears, then he or she will just keep doing it to get a reaction.

I have been enjoying the Berenstain Bears books with our child. it makes for great pictures and sooo many other topic perfect for whatever you and your child is dealing with. your kid dealing with bad dreams? yep, and we got that book to! Berenstain Bears books always make sure parents are not alone when dealing with any topic where and adult mind must meet with a child's mind. Berenstain Bears is the bridge that brings the two minds together. the best thing to put between the bread of teaching and the bread of learning is the butter of the Berenstains. I give them 100 gold stars.
