A Christmas Favorite
When I was little, my mom used to read this book to us every Christmas season. It is about how the family goes looking for the perfect tree, but every one they look at already has an animal family living in it. It is full of wonderful pictures and it touches the heart. Pretty good, but....
We love the Berenstain Bears books, videos and audio kits, but this one had a few flaws. Mainly, the rhyming was off-rhythem and would trip the tongue of even the best reader. But , as always, the illustrations were vivid and detailed, and the characters were lovable.

It is about how the family goes looking for the perfect tree, but every one they look at already has an animal family living in it. It is full of wonderful pictures and it touches the heart. I loved to look at the different Christmas trees the bear family wanted to buy. It is a wonderful book to teach kids the true meaning of Christmas!

I think the book shows children what the true meaning of Christmas is by showing them it is not what you get, but spending time with your family.
