Sweet story
This simple story will appeal to young children--it has lots of cute humor that kids will really "get" and the illustrations are very attractive--especially liked the scene of Sister Bear imagining the "Bear of the Rings" story while watching TV when she is home sick!

Not Well Written
Like many of the newer Berenstain Bear books there really isn't a lesson involved. Much of the story does not add to the plot, so the book makes for a very long boring read. I'm going to be sticking with the older books in the future, they are much more applicable and much better written.
