I put together a little video demonstration on this product. Although, the Beretta Neos magazines aren't particularly difficult to load, this device makes it faster for those of us who fumble with rounds while loading, and saves me from thumb blisters (after reloading at least 20 times during one range session). I loosened the set screw to get 10 instead of 9. At 0:25 into the video review you can see I had 9 rounds in the magazine (they were probably in sooner). Usually 9 go in the loader in within 3 to 4 seconds. I sill have to work on my technique, and also loosen the set screw to get the 10th round in. I thought that some would appreciate this video. Peace out.

Also, if anyone knows, I'm curious if these types of devices can be made for the S&W M&P AR15-22. I think it would sell very well.

Edit: March 14th, 2012. I had problems at the range today loading. I read the directions and saw that I was holding the loader device at too far of an angle. I held it straight up and down, and the rounds loader a lot better. I also tightened up the set screw. 9 rounds go in easily. I just load 9 , and if I want 10 I load the 10th round manually instead of going through all the hassle I went through in the video. I think if the company gave a video showing the ease of this product on Amazon, they would sell a lot more.

I love this speed loader, and you will likely love it too. Let's face it, you buy a .22 to put a lot of shots down range, and loading them up is about the worst experience ever (especially when you have a thumb shredding knob on it)

I have loaded ~1000 rounds with the speed loader, and it works well - I have been trying to tweak the screw to get the fast load they advertise, and I can't get it. What I do have to do is jam the clip in and out of the loader (don't actually remove it, just pull back a little, and shove it back in to trigger the next round to load). Guys will be intimately familiar with this motion, and it gets the job done. I was hoping I could hone in on the magic technique to make all 10 rounds shuffle on in, but it looks like I'll have to stick with the pumping motion.

With that said, it's still faster than loading manually, and it saves your thumbs, so if you'd like to put a brick (~500 rounds) down range, you can do so. At my last outing, it took me 1 hour to put 500 rounds down range (no rapid fire allowed)

This speedloader does what it sets out to do: it lets you load your Beretta magazines to full capacity in a few quick seconds. I sent over 1000 rounds down range in 2.5 hours from my Beretta Neos over the weekend thanks to this marvelous contraption. It's built as tough as it needs to be - it'll survive being thrown loose into a backpack with other things & getting jostled around a lot, and it'll survive a few drops to concrete floor, but I wouldn't suggest running it over, jumping up and down on it, or shooting it.

I bought this one and the one for the Ruger. They appear to work in the same fashion.

Yes, it takes some getting used to... Yes, you may have to adjust it (screwdriver is required) to get it to load properly. However, it is MUCH easier than loading by hand. I can get magazines loaded very quickly maximizing my time firing downrange rather than walking back to the loading table.

Watch some YouTube videos to get some tips on how to use this device. Take a bit of time to practice. You will save lots of time at the range (and have more fun).

I bought this after making some snarky comments about how much faster I can load my 22 revolver than my Neos using shooting partners. This, sadly, bridged the gap and I am now eating my words.

The price tag was a little high, but it is saving thumbs and time at the range. We're spending about half as long between rounds, which is making my stock of 22 LR disappear much faster. It was a worth while investment, and fairly easy to use.

The speed loader is fairly easy to learn to use, and will load a magazine with 2 or 3 taps. It does require some adjustment of the tension screw when you first get it. Be prepared to spend 10-15 minutes getting the spacer for the magazine and the tension screw in the middle to their correct settings. The fine tuning to get the bullets to load without dumping extra rounds will take the most time.

The loader is gravity driven, so make sure you hold it so the the line on the loader is parallel with the ground. This will save you considerable confusion about why it is or isn't working right for you. That being said, be prepared for the occasional round to jam itself vertically in the magazine. This is easily fixed by manually unloading the rounds above it, and then working the knob on the magazine up and down. But the moments when the magazine loads perfectly on a single tap make up for the occasional jam.

I was alittle worried when this item showed up with no instructions pertaining to the Beretta Neos. It wasn't listed on the included info. but it works like directed. it is a must have when shooting out side in the cold.

I have recommended to others at the range.
