As one of the poor souls suffering from moderate acne all my adolescent and adult life, I have tried everything on the market (so it seems) to help control and eliminate my acne. I was in a yoga studio/boutique one day, and after class I was perusing the boutique and came across this product. In reading what Bergamot is good for, I saw that acne was one of the ailments listed. The directions say to spot/dab on the effected areas, but throwing caution to the wind, I spread it over my entire face. And, guess what happened? Nothing! I didn't have an allergic reaction (thankfully!) but I did notice that in addition to the wonderful, relaxing, therapeutic scent, my skin actually felt good. I noticed immediately that my normally oily skin wasn't oily, even after hours of applying the Essential oil. What I learned that the Oil is NOT oily, rather it absorbed the oil and left my skin smooth and happy! Within a couple days of applying it morning and night, my acne cleared up. Faithfully using it for 3 years, I am happy to say that my acne is under control, and while I have occasional bouts of it (thank you, hormones), it is not nearly as bad as it has been. It might not work for everyone, but if you suffer from acne and are willing to see if it works for you the way it has for me, I would highly recommend this product. And, the essential oil can be quite pricy if purchased in a store, so I definitely recommend purchasing it on Amazon.
