I bought this for my cat and was pleased at the ease of getting her in and out. You can put your pet in through the top or the front.

Solid materials and quality construction make it surprisingly easy to transport your pet (an insert in the bottom turns the carrier rigid for transport).

Only drawback - the description is off. The dimensions are 18" L x 10.5 H and it only supports 20lbs.

I was a little nervous because my dog has a small frame, but had puppies not long ago and hasn't lost all her baby weight yet. She usually weights around 15 pounds but is closer to 20 now. She fit great and I am sure she will be comfortable. I'm sure this will be a breeze to travel with and it is airline approved. All in all a great deal for smaller dogs.

I am VERY happy with this carrier. I used to use a carrier that was hard sided and only had a front door opening when I took my cat to the vet. This carrier is so much nicer because I have two ways of getting her in and out of it. Also when I am not using it, it folds down flat and doesn't take up much storage space.
