Great for trimming topiaries - love my new shears! Nice clean cut, so much better than using my hedge clippers.

I bought these for my father-in-law so he could trim up his pom-pom shrubs. He has told me on several occasions that he really likes them. He has rheumatoid arthritis in both hands so I wanted to get him something that would work with great precision, but would not result in any issues with repetitive motion. He claims that he's had no issues with using them at all and they are very easy to keep clean and sharp. I tried them myself and was impressed at how easy they are to use; just squeeze the handle to snip-snip away. They work great with either right or left handed persons (he is left-handed). I think they will last quite a while and provide him with years of use.

His only complaint was that they gave him blisters (which indicates how much he actually used them without any pain in his fingers or writst). He said the blisters were his own fault because he should have been wearing gloves, which he now does use. All in all, an excellent buy for a fast and easy to use pair of topiary shears.
