A food ring is made of 18/8 stainless steel and are bottomless. It's a king of mold to make towers of food, you set the molds on top of a cookie sheet; pack in layers of ingredients such as chopped chicken, tomatoes, pasta and cheese or dessert items like pound cake, poached fruit and mascarpone cheese; then tamp doen the ingredients. In the set is included a stick and some flat discs to tamp down the food. Place them on a dish and lift off the mold.
