5.0 out of 5 stars Best Beading Thread, May 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I do quite a lot of beading and, after tying many different kinds of thread, use Fireline exclusively. It's strong, has a nice feel to it and it will go through even the smallest needle. I use 6 Lb., size D for all of my beading projects.

Not an expert on braid but I seem to have less chomp-offs using a braid trace.

5.0 out of 5 stars best beading thread, September 26, 2011

I do a lot of beadwork and this is my favorite thread. This weight is very versatile. The 300 yard size is economical, much, much cheaper than the small bead store spools. The smoke color sometimes has a coating that can get on your fingers while working.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, November 20, 2008
This is the best stuff for beaders. Strong, soft, and doesn't kink. Holds knots forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must try for beading, March 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Before I started using Fireline I was always struggling to string beads with small holes and couldn't achieve some of my design ideas because my cords and threads just couldn't fit. Now that I've been using this fireline thread I can string anything I can imagine. This can pass through any beads even pearls several times and it's essential for peyote beadweaving. It's very very thin so it takes some getting used to at first to adjust to avoid tangling but once you do practice a few minutes you'll never go back. I still use silk cords and colorful threads but now I reinforce them with a strand of fireline also.

Just netted an elaborate headdress in a place where I couldn't get my usual needles or any thread conditioner and had to swap from a short #12 to a long #10 about a dozen times on a thread. Never had to clip down to a cleaner end for rethreading. Amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fireline for Beading, August 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Fireline is my preferred beading thread. This large spool is the way to go since it is so expensive. Bead shows charge $20 for 150 yards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great thread for seed beading, July 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I use a lot of this fishing line for Delica beading on a loom. Since I buy in large quantities, I buy from Amazon because the prices are the lowest. I've always gotten good service. I use this line because it doesn't stretch and is very strong. Also both the graphite and the crystal are invisible in the work I do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fireline-Pink 10# test, June 27, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Fireline, while not a true braided line, is the best. Super strong and in pink it's super visible.
