I bought this rod for walleye fishing on lake of the woods, whether your trying to catch pesky perch or fighting lunker walleyes, this the rod to have! Sensitive enough to catch crappies, yet heavy enough to catch a 32" walleye.

Great for 30 degrees or above,

This rod is great for perch or smelt fishing in Vermont. If the weather is below 30 degrees it is better to use it in a shanty or ice will build up on the eyes. I guess that would be the case with any rod.
