My brother and I recently went on a fishing trip to the Tampa Bay area. We like to wade fish in the grass flats and have always had success with live shrimp. We bought our normal 4 dozen shrimp, and headed out into the water. The fish were really biting that day, and we quickly exhausted our live bait; so we had to use our artificial lures as backup. I have always preferred live bait, but not any more. We caught lots of nice Trout and Flounder with the 3 inch Gulp baits with a 1/8 ounce chartreuse jighead. The nice thing about the Gulp Shrimp is they last through multiple strikes whereas the live shrimp are eaten after a nibble or two. We were even catching fish on 1/2 the shrimp when fish would eat the tail section off. A must have bait for any saltwater tackle box.

If you have never used Gulp products I highly recommend them. I have always had the best luck with the White shrimp. I have caught saltwater fish everywhere I have ever used them, which includes FLA, TX, GA, and VA. I have caught flounder, catfish, Spec trout, Redfish, Croaker, etc all on these plastic lures!
