This is the most effective and versatile bait I have ever owned. I am an avid fisherman and have tried and retired more baits than my local baitshop has in inventory (I now understand why they say that lures are designed to catch fishermen, not fish). So far I have been out on 8 fishing trips with this bait and have not had a trip where I have not caught less than 6 keeper size bass (smallmouth, largemouth and striper) and have not had a trip where I have not caught at least 1 over 4 lbs. This bait is extremely versatile. I have used it as a trailer on a spinner and have caught fish where nobody else has. I have rigged it shaky head and bounced along the rocks after a cold front with amazing results. I have even caught a few rigging it weedless with no weight and drifting it through brush. I will admit that I did lose a couple of rigs doing this though as the hook goes through leeches relatively easily. I have seriously downsized my tackle box as I now only carry a few select crankbaits and tackle that I can pair with my gulp alive minnows and leeches. You have got to try this. You won't regret it and you won't ever leave for a fishing trip without it.
