Berkley Strap-on Tackle Box

I have used the strap-on tackle box for several years and really like
it. The only problem is that the hinges break off the lid. I have
called Berkley and they have replaced several of them, and I am
preparing to call them again--the lids need to be made of a more pliable
plastic.

I've owned this tackle box for 17 years and I still use it every season for bank fishing. After putting on the belt you can unlatch and flip down the tackle box to work with your baits. The box stays level and leaves both hands free. When you're done just flip it back up and off you go. I usually move the box around to my back while I fish and if I need something I bring it back around to the front. This is a great box for staying mobile while bank fishing.

I first owned one in the 70's. This is a tackel box for streams or enough lures & hooks so you arn't headed back to the truck. I love them!! When your done this baby it will pack, not crush lures ,or hooks even if you fall..I am thrilled with my new box.

I have had mine for a bit over 7 years now. I do a good bit of river fishing up here in the Pacific Northwest. I like how it allows me to have everything within easy reach. With it open in front of me as I tie up gear, it catches any item I may drop. keeps me from having to wade back to the bank and to a conventional tackle box after snagging and breaking off gear. I also wish they would make it out of higher quality materials but for $20 or less it is well worth it for me. I am just cautious to not stress the hinges which has allowed mine to hold up this long

Ok, yes... your friends will make fun of you for wearing it, but it's a great idea and great product, After 2 seasons of fishing still I love mine.

It does what it is made for. Definitly could make it better quality. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a better quality product. but it works and I love it

I do a lot of wading for small mouth and this answers the problem of carrying TACKLE AND ACCESSIBILITY to it

I recently bought 2 of these tackle boxes for my dad and brother, and they absolutley love it! It's very light weight, durable, and convenient. I reviewed another customer's comment, and it really helped me out. I'm glad I purchased these items.

Other people carry 4 tackle boxes with them, I prefer to use this only this small strap on box for my lures. Fish mostly for small mouth and panfish, and can fit everything I need right here. Whether I'm in a boat, wading, or hiking back to a remote area, this is easy to carry. When open, it's like a table to hold the tools needed to tie on the next lure. The last one I had was almost 30 years old, let's hope this one lasts as long
