4.0 out of 5 stars Not as bright as I had hope, but good over all., July 25, 2010

I found this line to be a good all around line. I have used it on crappie, bass, perch, and trout. It seems to vanish fairly well once in the water. although it was not as bright as the transition line it was easier to see than clear or green line. it has pretty good stretch to it. It took it a while to absorb water and it keep a good casting quality to it. not as sensitive as i would have liked but I have been useing a flourocarbin line on my spinning rig and realy liked the feel of it. I switched to this from vanish transition which is really bright out of the water. Much brighter than the transoptic. It spools up nicely and did lay on the spool better than the floro line as expected but I think the 4lb transition is the line I will switch back too. I didn't have much problems will the transition just wanted to try this mono out to see if it was as bright as the flouro line.

I would say this is like XT with a shine to it. if I stay with a mono line this will be the line for now.

5.0 out of 5 stars gold trilene transoptic 6lb, September 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I tried this line to see the difference between flouro and this, the floro is a pain to break in to the reel and was please to see this wasn't, I know it is mono but the stretch is a lot less reg trilene but is there. It does disappear well and I think I will use it more and flouro a little less.
