When Target stopped selling them, I couldn't find ankle-high hose (non-sandal-style) in any other store where I live, in Southern California.

Finally, I found this place (in New Jersey?) on Amazon. I immediately bought umpteen pairs, and they are more than adequate for me or anyone who doesn't like to wear shoes without stockings, whatever the season.
